Fashion Forward: Shorts

But this season, don't sell yourself short, instead put on a pair of shorts.

Jill Ginsberg: "You really want to feel comfortable during the summer, so a great thing to wear is a nice short."

At Bar Boutique in Hollywood, you can get your taxes done while you shop for some hip and trendy shorts.

That's because owner Jill Ginsberg turned her love of fashion into a full time gig, without quitting her day job as a tax attorney.

Jill Ginsberg: "I've always been a huge clothes horse so I figured this would be a good way to indulge my habit."

Jill says this spring all styles and lengths are in... But bermudas are the most popular.

Jill Ginsberg: "If you're older or you just don't like your knees a good thing is to have the bermuda short because they're nice and long, covers your knees, yet you also get the short and you also get the air, so it feels good."

Plus you can't help but "smile" when you pair up this spaghetti strap top with a plaid pair of linen shorts.

Or for a slimming effect -- wear a longer jean walking short paired with a cropped pink hoodie.

Shorts with cuffs on the side are very in for spring too, but if you have a fuller figure, undo the cuff.

Jill Ginsberg: "The cuff is really for a shorter person or someone with a nice sleek silhouette."

Want to show off your legs, then head to Macy's.

This spring, shorts aren't just for hanging out... The look is more put together and stylish.

Melissa Goff: "What's new about shorts this season, it's not about putting on a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. These shorts are meant to be dressed up and seen."

Be seen in a rolled up cargo short for going out at night.

Or wear a bermuda length or the longer, peddle pusher with a jacket to work.

The best part about shorts is that you can also show off your shoes.

Melissa Goff: "One of the most popular options that look great with the legs are a wedge and a platform. Looks fabulous with the shorts, so you need something a little chunky at the bottom."
