Or in the movies, most stars always look sophisticated and trendy.

But for celebrity designers, like part time South Florida resident Charlie Lapson, the secret is finding what women want.

Charlie Lapson: "I was doing mostly clothing for many years, but it just kind of evolved and exploded into things women love which is handbags, shoes, jewelry, accessories."

His admirers include everyone from Jennifer Aniston to American Idol's Kelly Clarkson to Eva Longoria.

And what's not to admire?

From this stunning diamond and sapphire necklace, Lapson only uses the finest quality materials.

Charlie Lapson: "I go to Italy, I go to Spain and I find the most incredible leathers. And I work with the artists in the tanneries and we create fantastic really pieces of art."

When it comes to handbags, Lapson's art includes this brown croc bag with matching wallet and this blue purse with studs.

But no matter what color or style, there's always a South Florida touch to his accessories.

Charlie Lapson: "Miami really holds a special place in my heart because I just love it here and I'm very passionate about coming here and sitting on the beach and relaxing and watching the sunsets. So I kind of bring a little bit of Miami into everything that I do."

Zac Posen brings a little bit of Miami into everything he does as well.

Posen's only in his mid-20's, but he's already dressed dozens of a-list celebrities like Natalie Portman, Claire Danes, and Felcity Huffman at the 2006 Oscar Awards.

Zac Posen: "Every moment I wake up, I draw inspiration from everywhere. It is my passion, women are my passion. I love them. I want to make them feel feminine, intelligent, and flirtatious."

Posen is a South Florida regular, frequently stopping into stores like Neiman Marcus in Coral Gables.

Here his collection runs the gamut. From long beautiful gowns to pretty dresses.

For fall, he says look for colors like dark blue, silvers, khakis even pink.

Zac Posen: "Our fall collection was about a perfectionist rebel. She's a woman you know who definitely has a lot of personal style herself um and you know it's about a clean form and sculptural shapes."

Plus this season, Posen's also partnering up with ultra-hip Seven jeans and branching out into accessories.

Zac Posen: "The women who I dress really inspire me to make the clothing."
