This season's trendiest color can get a bit tricky. In tonight's Fashion Forward, Diana Diaz shows us how to dress in neutral without looking dull.
WSVN -- Get ready to look through your closet and drawers for anything neutral.
This season's must-have color palette goes with just about everything, and stars are already setting the trend.
Jill Ginsberg: "Luckily for most women, neutral is a great color."
At Bar Boutique in Hollywood, Jill Ginsberg has lots of vintage neutral pieces that match with just about anything.
Jill Ginsberg: "Accessories, a jacket, a piece of jewelry -- something light though, not too heavy."
And if you love bright colors, no worries.
Jill Ginsberg: "It really is a great way to pair something very light with something very bright and not have it look too overdone."
The nice thing about neutrals, they are perfect for the office and easy to dress up for evening.
Jill Ginsberg: "Switch maybe a jacket or a pair of pants and go right into the night with it and look just as good as you did during the day."
Another store where neutrals are new again -- Leo on South Beach.
You can get a funky look with some short zebra shorts and black boots or go classic with a simple slip-on dress.
Elizabeth Vallejo: "I guess it basically depends on your personality and what you feel comfortable in and how you feel wearing certain styles."
If you want to look real sexy, check out this little white number.
And for casual flirty, go with a long shirtdress as a bathing suit cover-up.
"It's basically a color that can go with a lot of different things, so it's a good basic piece to have in your closet."
Elizabeth Vallejo says finish off an outfit with neutrals on your feet.
Elizabeth Vallejo: "Neutrals in shoes are always a good call because they make you look taller because, if you're wearing a short dress when you wear black, sometimes it cuts you off."
Diana Diaz: "Remember, neutral colors can wash you out, so make sure to find some colorful accessories to match your outfit."
