When it comes to summer in South Florida, it's hot, hot, hot! But a fashion trend for this summer is sure to keep you cool. Here's 7's Diana Diaz with how to be white hot Fashion Forward.

WSVN -- Summer fashion is all about finding a way to look great and stay cool and this season, we'll definitely be feeling the white heat of a hot new trend.

Mari Alarcon-Grimalt: "We're seeing a lot of white, which is usual for summer because it's cool and crisp."

HipE Boutique in Miracle Mile is one store that's boasting everything white -- and there are two "hip" ways to wear this fresh look.

Mari: "One is romantic with ruffles and embroidery and crochet, detailing, and the other is the more mod, edgy modern look."

You can get in touch with your feminine side with a summer dress like this white peasant dress with ruffles and lace accents, or show off your summer tan with this Grecian-inspired bubble dress. But if you want to go for a more edgy look, white can still work for you.

Mari: "A lot of drapey, a lot of oversize tops that you can cinch with a belt, or you can wear it loose. Some of them you can even wear as a mini dress."

Like this embroidered tube top, paired with cropped pants by Policy.

The good news: White works with any skin tone, though some of us are going to need to add a dash of color to make it work.

Claudia Gontovnik: "If you're too pale, and you want to accessorize it, or maybe you just want to leave it simple, so it's white and fresh."

A good way to spice it up: just add a colorful clutch or some chandelier earrings, or go chic with a hip hat like this bohemian conductor's cap, and if you're looking to keep it as cool as possible, what about going for white on white.

Claudia: "Absolutely, absolutely. As long as they're the same kind of white."

Bottom line, no matter how much white you wear, always go with what makes you comfortable.

Claudia: "If you have a good eye, and you can judge if it fits you right or not, you can always wear white."

Diana Diaz: Also, try nude or beige-colored undergarments rather than white so they'll blend in to your natural skin color."
