Good news, fashionistas, suits this season are anything but boring. So whether you're the boss or just climbing the corporate ladder, now you can dress for success. The Nightteam's Diana Diaz shows us how in tonight's Fashion Forward.

WSVN -- Time to suit up, ladies. At Bloomingdale's in Aventura, wimpy looks are out. The power suit is back in.

Allison Mandel: "It's a refreshing departure from the Bohemian frills and ruffles from last season. This season is about the strong, assertive woman."

Rise to the occasion in this men's wear-inspired black suit by Theory, paired with a crisp white-collared shirt and black pumps.

Tweed suits are hot. Try a long jacket over a mini-skirt or pick a fall color like purple in a cropped jacket and A-line skirt. Matching is back and bigger than ever, like this black and white Diane Von Furstenberg.

Allison Mandel: "Suits this season are more feminine. They are very fitted to your body to your silhouette. They're body-skimming, which kind of brings back a 40s retro look."

Pantsuits take on a feminine touch in colors like gray with a sheer pink blouse underneath, or try wide-legged trousers and a bright orange top for a flirty feel.

Don't be afraid to slip on a patent leather mini-skirt in camel with a tweed jacket, cinched with a matching skinny belt.

Allison Mandel: "The looks are pulled together and lady-like."

At Neiman Marcus in Coral Gables, updating your suit is all in the details.

Katharine Rubino: "You're going to see a lot of detailing whether it be zippers, whether it be feathers on the jacket or fur, or a velvet collar."

Like this black Prada suit with leather and fur-detailing on the shoulders. Add gold bangles for some shine.

Go futuristic in Zac Posen's tweed suit with a metal clutch and silver metallic booties, or make a classic black and white suit more modern by adding the must-haves of the season, tights and patent-leather platforms.

Katharine Rubino: "It's OK to wear tights with a strapy sandal or with a shoe that has a peek hole."

Go from work to cocktails with a sequined cami or take off your jacket to reveal a pretty sheath or ruffle dress.

When suiting up just keep this rule of thumb in mind, the look is polished and flawless.

Katharine Rubino: "It's OK to wear head-to-toe the same color or to match your handbag with your shoe. In fact, we encourage it for this season."

Diana Diaz: "When choosing a suit go for the style that's right for you. Skirts can be mini, A-line or pencil, and pant suits can be wide-legged or high-waisted. Just make sure you know your body type."
