All Fashion Forward

When it comes to the latest trends in jewelry, the bigger the better, but you don't have to break the bank to update your look. The Nightteam's Robin Simmons shows us in tonight's Fashion Forward.

WSVN -- From drop earrings, to big bracelets and daring necklaces, the stars rolled out the bling at this year's Emmy Awards at Neiman Marcus in Coral Gables. You can look like a celebrity by adding just the right amount of sparkle.

Katharine Rubino: "If you're going to buy one piece this season it has to be the cuff. The cuff is the biggest trend for the season."

You can really shine in this cuff covered in Swarovski crystals. Slip on this silver and mesh Barrera piece, or go for the gold with a couple of cuffs.

Katharine Rubino: "You're going to see it from simple gold and silver, or you're going to see it very dressy with pearls, with crystals, with big gems on it."

Bangles are back, and this time they're making a statement, literally. These designer bangles express your mood with sayings from, 'You're not the boss of me' to 'Do you have any idea who I am?'

Everyone will know you're a big shot when you're sporting a Stephen Dweck cocktail ring, and you'll feel like a princess in this matching necklace and earrings by Badgley Mischka.

Katharine Rubino: "You can wear big necklaces in the day, too. It's OK, don't be afraid to do that, and then, obviously, it will be a great transition when you go into the evening to go out."

But all this bling isn't cheap. Prices range from $250 to $3,000.

If that's a bit beyond your budget, head to Cool Jane in North Miami Beach where you can get the look for $15 and up.

Jeanie Schatzberg: "Color is very important, big jewels of every color, purple, green, fuchsia, clear. It's fabulous and working them together, mixing them together."

Mixing bracelets is big, like these rhinestone bangles in different shapes and sizes. Colorful enamel bangles are just right for stacking or go with one of the hottest trends in jewelry right now...

Jeanie Schatzberg: "We're mostly like '80s now, very bling, very big, very mod, very colorful."

Going for a more elegant look? These green drop earrings by Gerard Yosca will run you about a $120, or go for the cheaper version in purple for $15.

The jeweled Lucite bangles on the right cost about $170. The ones on the left are just $18.

Jeanie Schatzberg: "You can actually wear them with either jeans and a T-shirt like I'm doing, or you can make it the centerpiece of an evening dress."

Robbin Simmons: "No matter where you shop or what you spend, just remember to go for brighter and bolder. The bigger the better."
