All Fashion Forward

Ladies, want to stand out this season? We don't just mean in the gift-giving department. The Nightteam's Diana Diaz says it's time to wrap yourself up in the hottest holiday colors, as we take you Fashion Forward.

WSVN -- Green and red, it's everywhere you look this time of year, but when it comes to your wardrobe this season nearly anything goes. At Cool Jane in North Miami Beach, don't be afraid to branch out from basic black.

Jeanie Schatzberg: "I would say put the little black dress away if you have the courage and go for color."

Like this red chiffon one-shoulder top by Nu. With black silk pants and sparkly earrings, you're ready for the holiday party in style.

Look cool in a royal blue top with satin trim, wear with jeans and big gold hoops for a casual flair; and don't worry about matching your earrings to your outfit.

Jeanie Schatzberg: "You can do an emerald top with a yellow stone earring, fuschia with purple. It's really about having fun this holiday season."

And fun means a variety of styles.

A purple jersey tunic can be worn as a dress or with skinny jeans or leggings. This red tunic is perfect for daytime festivities paired with a wide waist belt. Shine in a copper metallic baby doll dress or be the belle of the ball in this hot pink strapless stretch dress by Betsey Johnson.

Jeanie Schatzberg: "Sequins, stones, jewel stones, beading, pearls, you name it; just throw on the dress, and you need a fabulous pair of earrings and you're out."

At Guapa, a new boutique off Lincoln Road, it's all in the name.

Maria Perez: "Guapa means pretty or beautiful in Spanish."

Owner Maria Perez says you'll look muy bonita this holiday in a purple silk wrap dress with red sash. Add a bronze necklace and matching earrings handmade in Spain for added bling!

Go retro in a colorful cotton shirt dress. Just tie it low around the waist.

A matching sweater and a line skirt with red, green and yellow trim is appropriate for the office party, or head out to dinner and cocktails in a silk sheath dress in fall's hottest shades.

Maria Perez: "These are all looks that you can wear from the office to dinner, day to evening."

For those cooler nights, snuggle up in a cowlneck minidress with navy tights, or cover up in a teal trench coat over a star-printed wrap dress. You'll look elegant in a tri-colored silk dress with lace trim, or go bold in a purple checkered tunic belted low at the waist.

Maria Perez: "It's nice, and it's refreshing to wear color and to wear something that's not so obvious and that you don't see everywhere."

Tunics are huge this season. You can wear them as a dress belted with heels or go casual with a pair of leggings or jeans and boots.
