Fashion Forward: Black

WSVN--Whether it's a Black Yves St. Laurent Dress...Or a Giorgio Armani suit...Designers showed off this season's must have color at the re-launch party for Harper's Bazaar Espanol on South Beach.

Joann Bertolino: "Black is definitely back and it's better than ever."

That's right, this year, it's no secret -- designers are going to the dark side because black is the new black. At wish boutique in hollywood, the little dress has never looked as good as this.

Joann Bertolino: "We'll see a lot of black, just black on black. But there will always be some sort of detailing, whether it's beading, or embroidery, or other colors mixed in."

You'll also find black velvet, black silk and just about every fabric in this color. Dress up your denim with a pretty crop jacket or embellished top. Or try it with a splash of blue. Whether day or night, this color's perfect for just about any occasion.

Joann Bertolino: "You could take your typical black suit and you could wear like a fabulous top to wear out for evening. So you could have the suit for the day and you could have the sexy little top underneath for at night."

The fashion classic is also a big seller at Studio LX in South Miami. Here, you'll find plenty of black, however it's anything but basic.

Alex Abril: "We're seeing a lot of detailing on everything that's black now. Whether it's a black pair of pants with detailing, a lot of rhinestones, a lot of ornamentation."

Be the highlight of the party in this stunning black dress. Go for a black jacket and boots. Or try this black top and gaucho pants.

Alex Abril: "Black is very sexy and very elegant and it's never too much."

There's no such thing as wearing too much black, you could definitely wear it head to toe -- but this season, don't forget to add plenty of accessories.
