If you are in the fashion know, you've heard of Kate Spade. But did you know the handbag designer is expanding her horizons?
(WSVN)- When it comes to accessories her name speaks for itself.
Kate Spade shoes and handbags are fashion must haves.
Practical yet stylish, Kate says when you get dressed it's the little things that make a big difference.
"The whole outfit isn't necessarily what I'm drawn to I love the idea of designing things that are kind of the details that you put on..."
And now you can put on Kate Spade, literally.
The award winning accessories designer is getting into the world of fragrance.
"Just something to make you feel good and that was the whole point of the collection," says Kate.
Kate's launched a fragrance, bath and body collection.
Her beauty line features perfumes, luxurious moisturizing cremes, delicate soaps and body washes. The line partly inspired by childhood memories of her mom.
"I'd watch her putting on her stuff she was very busy she had 6 children, but she also took the time to pay attention to either doing her nails or the lotion...," says Kate.
Now Kate hopes you'll take the time to stop and smell the flowers in her fragrance.
"The idea is to kind of feel as if you've taken a moment for yourself in the bath or as your rushing to work and you put on your beautiful creme or your beautiful fragrance and you're out the door..."
