Fashion Forward: Safari Chic
Want to make a bold statement this Spring. Step into something that's out of Africa. Safari chic is the name of the game. Animal print tops, safari jackets and wide leg khaki pants - it's a jungle out there so why not dress for it.
"I think it's fun down in Miami. It's perfect for Miami it's got alot of flare it shows that you have alot of personality and that you're bold and daring..."
Head to Bloomingdales into Africa Shop and take a walk on the wild side.
Go with an animal print summer dress or break up the look with a solid top or bottom.
Animal prints can for work for day with khaki pants and a leather belt or you can be fiercely feminine at night.
You can even wear it to the beach.
Pick a print any print and bring out the animal in you.
Dana Bruno, from Bloomingdales, says "The trend includes all kinds of exotic prints. There's chiffon, all kinds of sheer fabrics that follows the loose trend of the season."
If prints aren't your thing theory on South Beach is your natural habitat.
"Safari is big for spring you're seeing alot of neutrals, khakis, olives, bone color, honey is a popular color..."
The colors work well with just about any skin tone.
The looks are out of Africa, with safari inspired jackets in suede and comfy stretchy tops that allow you to roll up your sleeves and hit the urban jungle.
"I think that since it has familiarity it's something i find i'm very comfortable in and my customers seem to feel the same..."
It is a jungle out there.
