It's time to swing low by getting some fringe into your wardrobe. Designers are adding fringe to give their looks extra eye catching detail. 7's Belkys Nerey explains when she takes us Fashion Forward.
(WSVN) When this picture came out, it was all about Chelsea Clinton, but as always Madonna was the real trendsetter in this group wearing a fringe jacket by Versace.
the swinging stuff once associated with hippies is back and on everything from tops, to belts, to bags, even shoes.
Melissa Goff, from Burdines, says "Everything's all about detail at this point in the fashion cycle. Fringe is the perfect detail. It can go for a prairie or a western look, or it can just go for a sexy look. It's swingy, it's sexy, it's all over everything..."
Enjoy the fringe benefits at Burdines with a full on fringe top or just a touch of it at the waist. Flower fringe is cool, it's even cooler on your shoulders, belted around your waist, or built in at the hips on your pants.
Swing low at Bebe where you can pick up a suede top with fringe at the shoulder. Go full fringe with a swingy skirt and top, or give your step a sexy swing with a dress cut diagonally at the bottom.
Marcia Samayoa, Bebe, says "Southwestern influence it's come back with a bang and it's everywhere. You've got the turquoise inspired jewelry, the belts, the jackets with the suede fringe, everything's coming in with fringe. Tie on a belt everything has fringe now."
SO GET IN THE SWING.
