All Gretta's Got It

Are you one of those people that has to start mid afternoon for a Saturday night date? Or lose sleep every night because you have to get up so early to get ready for work? Seven's style expert Gretta Monahan has time-saving tips for women.

WSVN -- Did you know that most women will spend two years of their lives getting ready to get out the door? That's too much wasted time for me, so I'm going to share with you my best beauty time savers.

OK, ladies -- we all know that styling hair takes up our biggest chunk of time. In fact, it takes some of us 30 minutes to get it right.

So, I say, cool it with all the blow-drying.

Start by planning on washing your hair every other day -- this will reduce the damage and help you save up to almost two hours a week!

Try this spray to extend your style.

This hair power will keep your hair clean and sleek for days -- and, the big bonus, it blends your color so it can extend your next visit to the hair salon.

Try a silk pillowcase -- it's not only luxurious, but it's a great way to keep your shape and style while you are getting your beauty sleep.

Wake up and make-up -- the average woman will take 15 minutes or more to put their best face forward, so another big way to save time is by being a beauty multitasker.

That means get organized, so toss out old products and consolidate your colors and tools.

Try kits that take care of your whole face. You'll be amazed at how much time you'll save not digging to find your favorite cosmetic. This will give you at least five extra minutes a day. Add that up, and you are saving 35 minutes a week.

Another beauty time-saver is by going with a two-in-one.

Use products that give you more than one use -- like conditioner, lip and eyeliner, tinted moisturizer and one that comes with SPF.

By removing just one additional step, you can shave seconds off your routine.

Getting dolled up doesn't have to take all day if you work smarter, not harder.

Try these tricks, and you'll be ready in a snap! I'm Gretta for Gretta's Got It.
