Spring is a time for change, so why not freshen up your face? It's Makeup 101, and Gretta's Got It.

WSVN -- It doesn't matter how great your outfit is. Nothing can stomp your style faster than a badly made up face.

Women who say they don't like wearing make-up say that it is because they don't know how to put it on or what colors they should use. Some that do still need help, too!

So, we're headed back to class to learn some beauty basics of Make-up 101.

Hey, guys! All right, let's start the lesson.

Today we are going to show you how to create a fresh looking face.

The first thing you need is the foundation.

This will even out your complexion and create a canvas.

It doesn't have to be cakey or unnatural, but the most important thing is to pick the right color. Foundation should blend into your skin perfectly, and you can pick the coverage.

So, when in doubt, buff it out.

Next up is concealer. It should be one shade lighter than your skin. Use it under eyes to brighten up dark circles and to tap away blemishes.

Now, we focus on the eyes. Start with an all-over light color on lids for a natural look.

For more drama, use a slightly darker color in the crease.

What is easiest on the eyes? Browns work best, from light to dark. Perfect!

To line the eye, pencils are easiest. Follow the area where eyelashes grow for a naturally lined look. To lash out in a blink, mascara tops it off. Gently swipe lashes through wand.

Brush on some color with blush, but there's a trick to the trade.

OK, it's time to get cheeky. There's two places to focus. You always put pink and rose on the apples, and always put your bronzer through the contour area.

Tired of the old lip service?

The biggest mistake women make with their lips is the liner.

So start with lip liner that's within two shades of your natural lip color. Dark is a big no-no!

Make sure you apply your lip liner on the lip line or just beyond it. Do not put it outside.

Then, it's time for your lipstick. There are great glosses too for extra shine.

In 10 minutes, viola a fresh face!

So, class, the goal of this lesson is to make sure that the focus is always on your face and not your make-up.
