Gretta's Got It: Shades

WSVN -- Gretta Monahan: "Do you want star-stunning style this summer? Take a cue from the Hollywood stars and slip on some shades."

Kristin Roth: "Ashley Simpson was just in and bought a pair of Marc Jacobs aviators from us in a navy blue, very pretty."

So, if you are hoping to be an "it" guy or gal this summer, in-sunglasses are the must-have accessory. The best part about donning designer? Shades are a reasonably affordable way to sport a little haute couture.

Kristin Roth: "It is the one accessory that is affordable compared with say the Channel shoes, the Channel handbag. They're easily affordable and attainable by anybody."

Gretta Monahan: "We all know shades protect our eyes from harmful rays, but they are also a skin saver."

Kristin Roth: "Cosmetically, it helps with the lines and wrinkles around the eyes."

Gretta Monahan: "No squinting? I'll take that. But, let's face it, wearing a great pair is all about looking hot, so if you want to be on trend this season there are four must-have styles.

Gretta Monahan: "Firs, is the wrap, second is the modified aviators, third, are white frames (they are white hot) and finally, yes, big frames are still in."

Gretta Monahan: "A standard rule when picking out your perfect pair: Go with a shape opposite of the shape of your face. If it's round, you'll look best in geometric shaped frames, angular or thin-pick round rims, and an oval face you can pull off just about any style."

Kristin Roth: "You can always find something that's fashionable and fun."
