All Gretta's Got It

Nobody will be calling you "four eyes" if you get the right frames for your face. Seven's style expert is here with tips on finding the perfect spectacles. See what we mean. Gretta's Got It.

WSVN -- A great pair of glasses won't only have you seeing better, they should also have you looking better to the rest of the world, and I'm going to show you how.

Start by thinking of your eye wear as an accessory, not a necessity. Fabulous frames are important because unlike a new bag or a great pair of shoes, glasses are the first thing that people will see.

Gretta Monahan: "The biggest mistake people make is choosing outdated frames or trendy ones that don't fit their face."

Gretta Monahan: "See how wrong these are for me?"

So pick a pair that brings out your personality and style.

Gretta Monahan: "Now that's what I'm talking about."

Today you have more choices. From sophisticated and fun to trendy and hip.

Gretta Monahan: "So, here are the hottest styles of the season. You'll notice a similar shape is the square oval. Two-toned frames are the new hot thing and a little bit of bling. Metal frames are a must, and don't forget your classic tortoise."

But the first thing you need to do is decide what kind of frames are for you. If you have a round face create angles, try rectangle or square frames. A heart-shaped face, try a modified cat eye. A square face looks great in rounder rims. Oval faces look great in almost anything.

Gretta Monahan: "And don't let those designer duds set you back, start with eye wear."

Top fashion designers have been focusing on ways to make sure you see in style.

Angela Gunn: "Designers are creating the hottest trends in eye wear."

And even if you don't need them it's still savvy to wear them.

Angela Gunn: "People who don't even need a prescription will come in looking for glasses."

Modern frames are a great way to keep you looking young and hip, and don't stop at one pair, create an eye glass wardrobe.

Gretta Monahan: "So invest in a few different styles. You don't wear the same outfit to the office that you would to a black tie event."

Your eye wear should change to fit the occasion.

Angela Gunn: "A normal person would probably have two pairs of glasses, a fashion forward person, four pairs.

Gretta Monahan: "So I got all the style I need in this little bag. Just remember, though, try before you buy. I'm Gretta for Gretta's Got It."
