WSVN -- Gretta Monahan: "OK, you guys ask me the same question, 'Gretta, what trends can I wear and be age appropriate?' Well, I've got the answer. It's all of them."
Gretta Monahan: "I'm here at Shop DaJa where they have the latest and greatest looks, and I'm going to show you how to dress for your age."
Gretta Monahan: "All right, I know color-blocking is huge. A lot of my clients say, 'Can I wear it? Is it age-appropriate?'"
Danni Fuller: "You absolutely can wear it, but you have to be aware of how old you are and what look you want to convey."
Danni Fuller: "In your 20s, you can have as much fun as you want. For your 30s, you can be a little bit more down tone by the shoes you wear. As you can see, we put her in a very conservative shoe."
Gretta Monahan: "On 40s, she had on a basic jean, you just added in a little pizazz on top with basic jeans."
Danni Fuller: "In the 50s, we have her in a cami under a bright, bold jacket but beware of the bust line, it's not as revealing, it's not as revealing as in the 40s."
Gretta Monahan: "Love them or hate them, polka dots are really in this year, and you do have to be careful so beware."
Ali Fuller: "Everybody can wear and rock the polka dots. It just matters what colors you choose, what size are the polka dots and how you are incorporating it into your outfit."
Ali Fuller: "In your 20s you're lucky. You have free range, you can play with the polka dots."
Gretta Monahan: "The difference is from 20s to 30s you want to become more sophisticated."
Ali Fuller: "We can just see enough of the polka dots coming through from the bottom, so, again, she's still trendy, she's on point, but she's not overkill."
Gretta Monahan: "So, if you really have a hard time with polka dots, this is a great way to get in on the trend. You take one of these little sashes, you can wear it as a belt."
Gretta Monahan: "This year you're going to hear a lot about the organic trend and, in this case, it refers to the pallet of colors and the print design."
Gretta Monahan: "This baby doll shape, sorry, ladies, but I like to keep it on anyone under 30."
Gretta Monahan: "This looks great on everyone, it's great for any age, especially if you want to do more 30s and beyond."
Gretta Monahan: "So geometric."
Ali Fuller: "This trend, it's fun, it's fresh, it's different than what we've seen in the seasons past. There's always different ways to incorporate it and everybody can."
Gretta Monahan: "All right, let me guess, you're 20, you can wear this anyway you want, right?"
Ali Fuller: "You're in your prime head to toe, rock it out. They're not sure about the whole trend, we're going to talk about color pallet. We're going to work with colors they're comfortable with."
Gretta Monahan: "So, no matter what trend you want to hit on, make sure you know the silhouettes that work for you."
Gretta Monahan: "But the main ingredient you want to make sure you have is sophistication, so I always recommend do the trends, don't be afraid, but less is more. I'm Gretta for Gretta's Got It."
