Gretta's Got It: Men's wear
OK, guys if you really want to strut your stuff this summer, this Gretta is for you. Tonight, she's here with cool summer fashion trends that'll have any guy looking hot, and "Gretta's Got It"
WSVN -- Gretta Monahan: "OK, guys, well it's that time of year again and in order to look hot this summer you need to know what's cool. So my friends at En Avance, who shop all around the world, are going to show us just that."
Karen Quinones: "The bright colors that are out. Yellow, orange, all those colors are really strong right now."
Gretta Monahan: "And, guys, these are hot. Don't be afraid to wear long sleeves because the designers have you covered so that you still look cool."
Karen Quinones: "This is 100 percent cotton. It breathes, it's lightweight, and it transitions well into fall as well."
Gretta Monahan: "And what to pair them with? Easy. On the bottom, go with your dark denim or even your linen, but never wear them with tears, rips or fades."
Gretta Monahan: "The good news guys. It can still rock your old standbys. Shorts and Polos still work but with a twist."
Karen Quinones: "They have a little vintage to it. These are distressed, so it takes the classic polo and it gives it a little worn look but still sophisticated, so you can wear it during the day or throw it on with a pair of jeans at night.
Gretta Monahan: "And, fellas, distressed does not mean grabbing something from your closet that has holes and stains in it. Save that gear for clean up."
Gretta Monahan: "OK, we all know that those events come up where you can't wear jeans, but the designers know this too, so they've come up with pants that are actually cut like jeans and totally appropriate."
Karen Quinones: "You can wear it in the evening. It has a nice slim leg with a slim cut pocket in the back. This would be a nice alternative to a pair of jeans, a little dressier version of a jean."
Gretta Monahan: "And, to stay on trend, pair them up with one of this season's bold, bright shirts, and then you'll be ready to go out on the town."
Gretta Monahan: "And one of the favorite things about guy style this summer, the devil is in the details."
Karen Quinones: "Contrast in the cuff, some kind of pipin in the interior, it's nice because it makes it a little more unique."
Gretta Monahan: "What makes or breaks your style? The fit, so beware. Don't buy your shirt over-sized or too tight. It has to be tailored with just a little bit of a relax fit."
Gretta Monahan: "One more thing. To keep current always, leave your shirts out. Never tuck them in. I'm Gretta, for Gretta's got it."
