Hot for the Holidays: Hot Toys
Ok, Moms and Dads. We know Santa does most of the work on Christmas. But to make sure your good little girls and boys get everything on their list, 7's Lynn Martinez is here with the hot toys this holiday season.
WSVN -- Elmo: "It takes two baby."
Elmo: "Elmo and you."
But along with his signature giggle, Elmo is now a singing superstar.
Elmo: "Rock and Roll Baby."
Simon Cowell: "You're interesting."
Um, I think that's a compliment. Anyway, the kids will love it.
For the older kids in the house, Toys R Us says the Nerf Vigilon is sure to be a blast.
Susan Miller, Toys R Us: "And kids can have great adventures and great fun with this new toy."
And the good news, it's Nerf. So no one takes an unexpected holiday field-trip to the ER.
Kids of all ages are clamoring for toys of their favorite characters from the big screen.
Alison Deyette, Marshalls: "Kids want those action figures, they want anything toy related that comes from their favorite movie."
Star Wars, Toy Story, Transformers- all the smash hits brought right into your living room. Disclaimer- cleaning up after the kids not included.
Good little girls know they want to see La La Looopsy under the tree.
Susan Miller: "It's a rag doll that comes to life. It has sewn buttons on it. It comes in different characters. We also have a brush and different accessories that go along with it."
Speaking of accessories- anything that goes with ipods, ipads, iphones is i-hot for the older kids. The apps not only entertain, but in some cases educate.
Susan Miller: "With the craze of tables and education games, the Eno tab from v-tech is one of the top toys this year that kids are asking for. Kids learn and they have fun at the same time."
And finally, lego with a gift sure to please Moms and Dads, allowing them to block off a little time to themselves. This game is for your competitive kids.
Susan Miller: "They've come up with a new board game, an adventure board game called Heroica. This provides great adventure and lots of fun for kids 8 and up."
Don't forget your kids of the furry kind and yes, we mean pets.
Alison Deyette: "Our dogs and cats. Everything, their toys, their bowls to their treats."
You can stock up on all kinds of gifts at TJ Maxx and Marshalls sure to appeal to their animal instincts.
Alison Deyette: "I even love this. You wash, I wag. It's their own grooming set."
Making sure all the kids in your house have a happy holiday season.
