Hollywood and Dine: Will Smith's Granny's Salmon Casserole

1 can salmon (16 oz.)
1 can cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 oz.)
1/2 lb frozen cut green beans
1 corn muffin mix (8.5 oz.)
1/4 cup diced green or red bell pepper
1 teaspoon diced jalapeno pepper (if desired)
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
Drain salmon and reserve liquid. Flake salmon and spread over bottom of 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
In a sauce pan, combine mushroom soup, reserved salmon liquid, green beans, 1/4 teaspoon of thyme, pinch of salt and a little pepper. Heat to simmer.
In a bowl, combine muffin mix, diced peppers, dry mustard, one egg and milk. Mix with a spoon until combined.
Pour soup mix over salmon.
Spoon eight mounds of muffin mix evenly over casserole.
Bake 25 minutes in 400 degree oven.
