Idol Insider: Glee Crunch Class
If you've always wanted to belt out the songs from "Glee" and dance like one of the characters, now here's your chance to join the cast and get a work out at the same time. Tonight, 7's Louis Aguirre schools you on how to get fit like a gleek.
WSVN -- Admit it. Every Tuesday night in the privacy of your home, you sing along at the top of your lungs and dance like a Broadway star with the cast of "Glee."
David Ballard: "I'll admit to secretly singing along."
Caitlin Bova: "I think 'Glee' is awesome. I'm a gleek."
Instructor: "Welcome to 'Glee Club.' Feel free to sing along."
Now all you gleeks can be part of the club by joining the Glee class at Crunch Gym on South Beach.
Roya Siroospour, Fitness Director, Crunch: "We were watching everyone go crazy about Glee, so we said, 'What better thing to do than make a class.'"
This class is like being inside McKinley High performing all the hits, just like Rachel or Mr. Shue.
Roya Siroospour: "We're going to use the music from 'Glee,' as well as familiar choreography that maybe you've seen from there. Singing is optional."
Instructor: "Let me hear it."
Expect to get down to songs from all your favorite episodes.
And the instructor will take you through the moves, anything from grapevines to salsa.
Louis Aguirre: "So the idea is you're not only getting your groove on with the music. You're burning a ton of calories, getting that body in Glee shape."
Caitlin Bova, Gleek: "I had so much fun taking that 'Glee' class. It was awesome. I'm like, woo! I feel like I had a really good workout."
Me too, so much so I might have to enjoy 'Glee' from the couch this week. Good thing my vocal chords don't hurt.
Louis Aguirre: "The 'Glee' classes are open to the public, every Sunday at noon. You can join Crunch or pay for daily classes."
