WSVN -- JLo in the hot seat for Idol season 10 quickly realizing there's more emotion to being an Idol judge than she bargained for.

Jennifer Lopez on Idol: "Why did I sign up for this?"

A little gun-shy on the Idol trigger early on JLo is now starting to come into her own and that means making the difficult decisions

Jennifer Lopez: "Once we get down to a certain number, everybody can sing, everybody has some sort of extraordinary talent and then it's to 40, and you're like, 'oh, god, we have got to go to 20, I don't want to do this."

JLo lost it Wednesday night when she was forced to cut Chris Medina, who's backstory of his disabled fiancé touched the nation and the judges.

Steven Tyler: "That's why he sings so good, cause he sings to you."

But the blow seemed more devastating to JLo.

Jennifer Lopez: "It's emotional, but this is the thing about 'American Idol' that I love, it's about people, and their dreams, and their struggles and that's what I think everybody loves about it."

American Idol may be a new block for Jenny, but it's one she's taking by storm even using it as platform to debut her new video for "On The Floor" off her new album "Love?"

Jennifer Lopez: "You know, just a lot of J Lo vibe, whatever that is."

Steven Tyler: "Did you eat a lot of paint chips as a child?"

By the way JLo not the only Idol rookie making waves and Steven Tyler's antics have not gone unnoticed by Jenny.

Jennifer Lopez: "He is a riot. You just never know what is going to come out of that mouth. It's crazy, it's crazy, and fun, and hysterical."

Steven Tyler: "Well hellfire, save matches, a duck and see what hatches."

Jennifer Lopez: "If they cut to me everytime he said something, I'd be like, 'what the? What did he just say, did he just say that?"

Yes, JLo he said that it's a question the duck was probably wondering as well.
