Living It Up: Paintball
If you remember last week, Jackie learned how to use a gun. Well now, she gets to show off her shooting skills with some weapons that are really "state of the art." Tonight, Living It Up is in living color at the paintball range.
Jackie: "Okay and what type of gear do you need to play paintball?"
Jason: "Well to play paintball all you need is the marker, which everybody calls guns, air, CO2 or compressed air. You need a hopper which holds the paint. Safety gear, goggles, gloves, so you don't get your hands beat up."
Jackie: "Now when I am thinking paintball, I'm thinking maybe a little squirt gun or something but coming here, these guns are pretty high tech looking, can you tell me about them?"
Jason: "This marker ranges um towards upper, towards $1000. And then we have the lower range for the guy just starting, we're looking at $60-$70."
Jackie: "Does it hurt if you get hit? Everyone wants to know."
Jason: "Depends on the person. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it doesn't. Depends on if you're far away, if you're close, if you get in a sweet spot or not."
Jackie: "Left bunker, left bunker, I got you covered!"
Jackie: "Cover me!"
Jackie: "He'll be eating paint when I'm done with him!"
Jackie: "This game is really intense."
Jackie: "Ugh, I just got hit! That's why we wear these. Can you imagine if I didn't have this on? I'm out. Take my gun and go home."
Jackie: "And that's what it's like Living It Up playing paintball in Homestead."
On Thursday, Jackie really gets her kicks, watch as she learns Kickboxing.
