Living It Up: Kite Surfing

Jackie: "How much has Kite Surfing grown in the past year?"

Josh: "From selling Kite Surfing equipment in the last three years I can tell you from 3 years ago selling just a few kites and now we're selling about 5 to 10 kites a week."

Josh: "Today we're going to show you how to control the kite, how to control the power of the kite."

Josh: "Alright Jackie are you ready for your first Kite Surfing lesson? Jackie: "Yeah well no."

Cian: "So we know where our winds at, the winds at our back right? 12 o'clock is right above us, we're going to hand the kite to you and see what you can do."

Jackie: "This is hard."

Cian: "Keep pulling until you feel it pull, across the sun let it go all the way across the sun."

Cian: "Look what Jackie did."

Jackie: "Did I do that?"

Jackie: "So far I've been breaking more equipment than even riding."

Jackie: "I'll probably be paying a whole bunch of money for this kite I just broke."

Josh: "Go Jackie."

Cian: "Now pull left, hard left, hard left, keep pulling left, keep going, hold on and right. She's a pro, we're going to get the bigger kite out for sure."

Jackie: "Bigger's better." Cian: "Wow, Wow!"

Jackie: "I feel like I just ran a marathon, that was a good workout."

Jackie: "Have you ever seen anyone so great their first time?"

Cian: "I swear to God I've never seen someone pick it up this quickly."

Jackie: "I'll send you the check later."

Next week, Jackie takes to the ice.

She'll go head to head with some local hockey players.
