Living It Up: Making The Perfect Pizza
Get ready to clean up the kitchen. Tonight, Jackie's putting her cooking skills to the test. This time, Living It Up is at Mario The Bakers learning how to make the Perfect Pizza.
(WSVN) -- We are Living It Up making America's favorite meal at one of the best pizza joints in South Florida. If you ever wondered what it takes to make a pizza pie, well if so, check this out.
Jackie: "So what goes in to making a pizza?"
Stefano: "You need to make sure that the dough is made a certain way every day. As far as ingredients are concerned, you uh need to put a certain amount of each one, not too much of everything because then the customer can't taste the actual pizza."
Jackie: "That's a whole lot of dough. How many pizzas do you think you can make out of all that dough right there?"
Stefano: "Maybe a hundred, hundred large."
Jackie: "That sounds just about right for me."
Jackie: "Now I heard you can toss the dough up, spin it on your finger like a basketball, are these rumors true?"
Other guy: "Yeah"
Jackie: "Are you going to show me how to do that?"
Guy: "Yeah I'll show you."
Jackie: "I'm ready, but first let's make this really authentic."
Jackie: "Gotta make the pizzas, can't stop, got pizzas to make."
Stefano: "Get a scoop of sauce...Yeah get it from the bottom."
Stefano: "Extra cheese, what we'll do is put on another 5 slices."
Jackie interupts with: "I like extra cheese"
Stefano: "You ready to do this?"
Stefano: "Okay hold it, right here, shake it."
Stefano: "That's it, you're done."
Jackie: "Well I'm excited to eat pizza today too."
Stefano: "It's edible."
Jackie: "Any pizza's edible."
On Thursday, Jackie's learning how to be an acrobat. She's taking on the trapeze.
