All Living It Up

If you want to replace your exercise routine, try getting a full body workout using a giant ball. The latest fitness fad looks playful, but with the right trainer, it's painfully tough. Tonight, Jackie gives it a try. She's Living It Up doing Ballistics.

(WSVN) -- We're living it up at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne. Today we're going to be learning how to get a total body workout by using a ball. It's called Ballistics. Check this out.

Jackie: "What is the main goal of Ballistics?"

Bill: "I think it's just to break up the monotony of a workout routine it focuses more on the core of the abdominal and lower back by working everything else like your legs your arms your shoulders."

Jackie: "This is going to be fun, bouncy."

Jackie: "That's working your abs."

Jackie: "This is a good workout, this is great."

Jackie: "Am I doing it right?"

Bill: "As you arch push your hips forward it'll help arch your back a little bit more."

Jackie: "Are we having fun yet?"

Jackie: "This is tough."

Bill: "As you come up you're going to twist so your palms are now facing up, down, up."

Bill: "Bring your shoulders just a little bit more, and twist, good , you're feeling it here and here, it should be hurting by now."

Jackie: "It is. He's not looking I can stop."

Jackie: "This is a good workout. This is pretty tough. It's one of the best workouts I've had in a long time."

Bill: "Everybody lift, 2 seconds up, 2 seconds down."

Jackie: "It's all about balance."

Bill: "Your absolutely right."

Jackie: "It's all about balance."

Jackie: "It is tough to balance."

Bill: "Jackie's doing fantastic. She's a natural."

Jackie: "I'm definitely sweating now."

Jackie: "I'm stuck."

Jackie: "What's the response you hear most when you teach the class?"

Bill: "The biggest response is my abs hurt."

Jackie: "And that's what it's like doing Ballistics, now if what to give it a shot, head out to the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne. I'm exhausted, that was a great work out, but now I'm ready to go lounge at the pool."
