Want to take your dining out to a whole other level? How about private dining in one of the most famous wine cellars in the world. We'll introduce you to a decadent dining feast in this Luxury Living report.
(WSVN) -- Fine wine, good food, great friends....what's the big deal....it's a big deal when it's all about you and your party and you're waited on hand and foot at The Forge's world renowned Wine Cellar.
Sara Levine says, "I think there's nothing better than being waited on hand and foot with white gloves. It's utterly decadent."
For the last 35 years, The Cellar used to be reserved for just the restaurant's owner and big name celebs like Michael Jackson, Robert Deniro, and basketball star, Shaquille O'Neal.
But now, mere mortals like us can get the VIP treatment.
Joseph Day says, "This is complete dining. Be prepared to eat, and be prepared to have some of the most amazing food you've ever seen in your life."
He adds, "The result is a lot of ooh...aahh."
In fact, it's what the French call a "Deguestacion"...In other words, a multi-course dining experience.
Each dish, a creation of the restaurant's Head Chef Andrew Rothschild, complimented by it's own fine wine.
Joseph Day says, "Could I work with you and try to come up with something cool or do you? That's the whole idea about this, about The Forge and eating in The Cellar, we sit down and we develop, we find out what your tastes are like and we develop a menu that's above and beyond your expectations."
Nicky Bernstein says, "I don't think it gets any better than this. The food, the wine, the flowers, the people, the lighting, the combination of textures. It's absolutely amazing."
And when it comes to the wine... The Forge knows a thing or two.
There are more than 7 million dollars worth of bottles in the cellar.
Brian Antoni says, "I could get used to this, it's great. I don't think I've ever eaten in a seven million dollar room before."
For your Luxury Living dinner at The Forge you can either come into The Wine Cellar and choose your own wine or you can get the help of an expert, our Sommelier, Jean Valentine.
Joseph Day says, "The Sommeliers actually pair the wine with the courses because their knowledge is so strong of the grapes and varietals that go together and it's just perfect on every step."
Just perfect for an intimate dinner for two or invite 18 of your closest friends...But have your credit card ready cuz this kind of luxury comes with a price.
The dinner costs anywhere from 85 to 200 dollars.
The Forge will also be opening two private suites in the Upper Cellar.
