It's one of South Florida's most exclusive addresses. But most of the homes on Fisher Island are condos. Tonight, Belkys Nerey is taking us inside one of the island's villas for a very private tour in this Luxury Living report.

(WSVN) -- It all started on the ferry ride over to Fisher Island 11 years ago.

"Hello," says Monette O'Grady, "Welcome to Fisher Island and our seaside villa home."

That's when realtor and interior designer, Monette Klein O'Grady, decided to turn a weekend getaway into full-time Luxury Living.

"There's not a day I get up that I don't pinch myself and wonder how beautiful it is and have the opportunity to live here," she says. "It's a very wonderful quality of life."

Monette's home actually used to be two villas, until she and her husband, Dan, gutted the place and rebuilt the 1,750-square foot space into their island paradise.

To work with the limited space, Monette hired a boat building company to customize everything from the built-ins behind the couch to the wall unit, which holds three T-V's, to satisfy any T-V junkies.

Forget the barka loungers... Instead try this remote control reclining chair, which came all the way from Switzerland.

You can sit back and relax here, watching the waves or in any room of the house because they've all got water views.

"To be 20 yards from the ocean's edge and enjoy the dynamics of the water whether it be calm or with waves," says Monette, "It's really a very special, special environment to live by."

In the kitchen, sip frozen margaritas prepared special by Debra our personal chef for the day.

Lounge around outside in the Zen garden... or take a ride with the family in your very own golf cart.

"We go to the restaurants," says Monette, "we go to the markets, we go to the spa, everywhere we travel is by golf cart."

Monette's responsible for designing everything from the hand-painted wallpaper...

To the Asian inspired bedroom...

To this now-you-see-it-now-you-don't desk.

Monette and her husband moving on... But they won't forget what started as a ferry ride has changed their life forever.

This house could be yours for 1.9 million dollars... And it comes with the island's amenities like the spa, tennis courts and its seven restaurants.
