Luxury Living: Golden Beach Mansion
It's just down the street from Aventura and minutes from South Beach... But in tonight's Luxury Living report, we're taking you on a tour of a mansion in Golden Beach that's so fab, you'll feel like you're in another world.
(WSVN) -- As soon as you step through the gates of this Golden Beach Estate, you're in a Luxury Living paradise.
Behind door number one, a relaxing courtyard, where you can lounge around and re-energize before you tour this 8-thousand square foot home.
Jill Eber of The Jills Coldwell Banker says, "It's very, very special here. Golden Beach is a community of approximately 40 homes which are on the ocean. Very, very few of them have this kind of frontage and this kind of property."
The home was built in 1938, but owners Sid and Sandy Levy completely renovated it when they moved in.
Once inside, head up the marble spiral staircase to the master suite, which is a home inside a home.
There's the bedroom, a separate sitting room... And not just one, but four closets.
The house has six bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms, and two powder rooms... This one complete with hand painted walls, and a $15-thousand dollar toilet made of tortoise shell.
Jill says, "Someone would never mind excusing themselves to come here."
Sneak away to the media room, where you can read a book, grab a drink at the bar, or sit back and watch your favorite flick.
Jill says, "A screen comes down from here and you can just close the windows and you're watching a movie."
From the grand piano and hand carved fireplace in the living room...to the dining room set for 14...to this mahogany bar off the dining room...it's the perfect party house
Plus, no matter where you sit, you'll get a spectacular view...
"There's a lot of detail that's gone into the ceilings throughout the house, as you found in the dining room, those are hand-painted."
While the inside is spectacular, the home's outside is breathtaking
Relax in the backyard by the resort style pool, as you watch the action on the ocean.
Sit in the cabana bar.
Or kick up your feet at the beach which is just steps away from your Luxury Living seaside palace.
Jill says, "The owner has said that everyday when she wakes up, it's like a Monet painting. There's a different landscape on the water everyday."
You get an acre on the ocean. The home is for sale for a mere $12 million dollars.
