Do you own your dream car? Maybe a BMW or a classic Mustang? Tonight, we're introducing you to a man who owns both those cars and a whole lot more. But what's truly Luxury Living about his collection is the way he has them on display... in his very own antique car museum.
(WSVN) -- This is the car Sean Connery drove in the James Bond movie, Thunderball ...
This 1950 Mercury was custom built for James Dean ...
And this white Packard Caribbean Convertible is one of just 100 in the entire world.
They are just a party of Michael Dezer's multi-million dollar car museum.
"The Dezer collection is known as one of the best collections of the 50's in America," says Dezer. "I put together the largest collection in the world of this type of cars. At one time I had 600 cars in my collection."
Dezer now has a modest 60 cars -- which he keeps inside the Trump Grande Ocean Resorts and Residences on Sunny Isles Beach.
He and Donald Trump are co-developers in this luxury high rise.
"This is a 1949 DeSoto," Dezer points out.
His private car collection of post World War II vehicles is open only to family, friends and hotel guests.
On this day, he took us on a very exclusive tour.
"We have 10 cars that we take out, and we drive all the time," says Dezer, "and the rest of them are staying in the museum."
"Each one of them is unique," he continues. "For instance, we have a Mustang. It's the first year they made the Mustang convertible, so 1964 and a half."
Nearly 50 companies made cars between the 1940's and the 50's... Dezer has at least one convertible from each of those companies.
Not to mention this vintage 1928 Duesenberg, worth 1 million dollars.
This 80-thousand dollar 1949 DeSoto convertible...
And this half motorcycle, half car made by BMW...
"We take them to car shows," Dezer says. "We always get first prizes for everything."
When Dezer's not tinkering with his collection, his full-time mechanic is.
Dezer's passion for cars spills into his office too, where part of his desk is the front end of a Cadillac from 1960.
It's a vintage car collector's dream, shifted into Luxury Living overdrive.
Dezer says, "So each car is a unique car, it's not only an oldie, it's also a special in its own line."
Dezer plans to make it a 100 car museum, and move all of the vehicles to a larger museum he's currently building next door.
