Victoria Park is one of Fort Lauderdale's most historic neighborhoods. Tonight, we're taking you on a tour of a home there, remodeled into a Luxury Living bachelor pad.

(WSVN) -- It sits on the water near Fort Lauderdale's Las Olas Boulevard.

This 3,300 square foot, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bath home. The home is owned by a prominent South Florida developer-- who's camera shy so his designers are giving us the grand tour.

Brett Sugerman, a designer from the Home of Fine Decorators, says, "This is his own personal home and we started with basic architectural floor plans and from that point worked with him to develop interior architectural details like the ceilings that you see throughout."

The home's grand entrance begins with this stone medallion near the front door...

Then look up at the intricately carved ceilings in the living room.

Designers, Brett Sugerman and Giselle Landi, teamed up to give the home a feel of luxury and style.

Giselle says, "Once we get to know the personality of the client and have conversation you get a feel of what they're trying to establish."

Laid back elegance is what the living room is all about.

Giselle says, "They were looking for luxury, for comfort, to be able to also live in the space, not just a pretty home you can't touch."

It's the perfect place to sit back and relax...

Watch a bit of TV from the built-in TV wall unit.

Curl up on the velvet sofa with a good book...

Or have a drink at the full size bar...

Rack 'em up in the poolroom.

Or just lounge around by the pool.

From the framed artwork on the walls, to the bathroom floors, there's attention to every detail.

Giselle says, "All those type of things really add detail to a home and make it very luxurious."

A man's home may be his castle, and this Fort Lauderdale home is no exception.

Giselle says, "We wanted it to be masculine because he's a single man, but we also wanted it to feel very luxurious and still have a little bit of feminine touch."

Just in case you were wondering, the feminine touch is because our mystery homeowner lives with his daughter.
