Condos are going up everywhere on South Beach, but in tonight's Luxury Living, we're taking you inside a high-rise that's in high demand... thanks to the designer behind the project.
(WSVN) -- The building's still under construction, but already Icon is 90 percent sold out... so what makes these Miami Beach condos so special....
Phillipe Starck that's what... Starck is the French designer who gave the Delano Hotel it's high-style. Now the world renowned design guru is going condo at Icon...
"What is it about his design that you like so much?" asks Belkys.
Thomas Daly of The Related Group Developer, "Well, it's exciting, it's different, it's radical, it's a little crazy, it's a little funny, it's a little funky."
Here's the deal: At Icon you choose from four different styles of apartments... this one's called the nature model but there's the classic, the culture, and the minimal pad.
"Wow, that's some shower," remarks Belkys. "Looks like a cabana it's so big."
Each style features different finishes -- like flooring, bathroom fixtures, and kitchen styles.
And if you like what you see they'll even throw in the furniture-- for a fee of course...
"Most of these homes are second, third, fourth, and fifth homes, so it's how much time do you want to spend getting it ready to move into," says Thomas.
"Second, third, fourth or fifth homes? Must be nice to have those kind of worries, huh, Tom?" asks Belkys.
"Absolutely."
"How am I possibly going to decorate my fifth home!?"
So how much for this piece of luxury living? Well, this two-bedroom apartment will run you a million dollars, but the units at ICON start at about 300-thousand dollars for a one bedroom, and run all the way up to over 8 million dollars for the penthouse.
But, if it's the penthouse you want, you are out of luck because someone already bought it.

No matter which unit you choose expect, Starck's trademark whimsical design, great views and high Luxury Living style.
Thomas says, "It's very light, it's fun."
There are only two apartments left right now.
The building is expected to open in spring 2005.
