If you love the sand, the sun and the surf there's no need to go shopping for a home in the Caribbean. We'll take you inside one beach house that will take your breath away in tonight's Luxury Living report.
(WSVN) -- Coconut palm trees.....sand in your backyard.
This could be a Bahamas beach house -- but it's not. It's in the City of Miami.
Homeowner, Pierre Casteleyn says, "I decided to bring the Bahamas over here. I brought in the sand and I wanted the nautical feel becuase it's all about water and sun and blue skies.."
The sand is imported from Naples...
The floors are made from Brazilian walnut each plank pegged in one by one.
But this 6-thousand square foot bayfront home didn't always look as pristine as it does today...
Pierre says, "This was orignally a dinig room here so we knocked out the wall and there was a billiard room over there with a pool table and then there was kind of a little swing out there..."
The walls came down and now it's one stunning open space encompassing the homes living room, dining room and kitchen...
"I was told one big room like this is called a great room....I'll vouch for that..it's definetly a great room..."
But it gets even better.. Pierre gutted the 3 upstairs bedrooms to make one spacious master suite.
"Dog sold separately..."
The shower is right behind the bed so you've got spectacular bay views while you scrub.
All in all there are 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms in this 1958 Miami masterpiece.
That's just the inside -- outside you've got a pool, three large docks, the beachy area, an outdoor kitchen and that view...
"You don't need a whole crowd but you can have a whole crowd if you want it's very practical..."
"I know I say this everytime I do a Luxury Living report but this is really the house for me...for real all of those other ones Pierre, I was only kidding..."
Let's make a deal dahling...
