He can take on a 300 pound offensive lineman -- and off the field, he has a good eye for design. In tonight's luxury living report, Shireen Sandoval takes us inside an NFL player's new Aventura condo that brings new meaning to bachelor pad.
(WSVN) -- He's a South Florida Native who made a name for himself on the gridiron.
But when NFL player Henri Crockett's not on the field, he calls the Hamptons South in Aventura home.
Former NFL player Henri Crockett: "They showed me this place and I actually fell in love with it. It fits my lifestyle more, I can just lock the door and go."
The 28 story building is very impressive.
So is henri's home -- starting with the 5,000 gallon fish tank built right into the wall that henri designed it himself.
In fact, he chose the look of this whole place...From the color of the walls, to the furniture, to all of the artwork.
Henri says he wanted his home to make a statement.
Henri: "When you first come in, it's a dramatic wall. When you come in I wanted to grab your attention and then I wanted everything to flow."
There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms inside this 4,000 square foot condo.
Henri designed every inch of this place -- from the futuristic home theater to this unique fur headboard, which cost $600.
Henri says he got into design, after he bought his first house in Atlanta.
Henri: "I did my house in Atlanta, it was so nice that when the builders from my neighborhood came in, they were doing a model, they asked me could I do the model and that's how I originally got into doing homes."
Henri: "This is one of my favorite rooms because of the big bulky chairs. I'm a big guy so I need a lot of space, and I designed these myself."
But his number one place to hang out is the master bedroom.
He even sketched out the pyramid-like headboard himself.
Henri: "The headboard is 400 pounds. When I first got it, I didn't know how I was going to get it up here. It's so massive."
Whether he's hanging out by the pool, working out in the condo's gym or just lounging around his place, henri says his Aventura pad is what luxury living is all about.
Henri: "I spend a lot of time at home. Why would you want to go anywhere else."
Henri wants to make sure we say that although he lives in a bachelor pad and he is a bachelor, he has a girlfriend -- so ladies, don't get any ideas.
