Between drinks, cream, and surgery - everybody wants to look younger. But now, there's a new tool in town promising fantastic results - fast. Tonight, 7's Lynn Martinez is showing us how it can turn back time on even the most sensitive skin.

WSVN--Just like a good rub with sandpaper can give wood a facelift.

A new cosmetic tool called The Dermafile can give your skin a fresh, new appearance.

Alexiys Rodriguez: "It's actually a little file a little round tip, a diamond crusted chips in it."

If diamonds are forever, then this new treatment could keep you 'forever young'.

Alexiys Rodriguez: "You just do circular movements or back and forth strokes on the skin and it helps to just basically shave away the skin."

According to Esthetician, Alexiys Rodriguez, what makes The Dermafile different is it appeals to clients with different complexion.

Alexiys Rodriguez: "Mainly it was developed for the people who have very delicate complexions, very delicate skin you can get the same results."

Lourdes Restrepo is approaching the big 4-0... But she doesn't want to look her age.

Lourdes Restrepo: "I would love to turn back the hands of time."

She'd also like to wipe away acne scars.

Lourdes Restrepo: "I'd like my skin to look smoother, I'd like to have a younger look, and I'd like my skin to look cleaner and exfoliated."

The Dermafile works by buffing off dead skin tissue... Without chemicals, acids, or machines.

The coarser the file, the deeper the treatment.

Alexiys Rodriguez: "It actually helps to enhance the skin tone, to tighten and tone and it helps to create a smoother more even look to the skin."

But not everybody's completely convinced.

Dermatologist Marty Zaiac has never used the file but he worries about operator error.

Dr. Marty Zaiac: "I think that depending on the operator's technique you can have a really great result, or if the operator goes to deep you may have potential for problems whether it be scarring or superficial abrasions."

Sandra Verde has seen only great results.

Take a look at her face before dermafile...

Now after three sessions..

Lourdes also noticed a change after just two treatments.

Lourdes Restrepo: "I see a difference here and all over it just feels smoother and not rough. I've been told I don't look my age, so I'll keep trying for people to say that."

Each session will run you about one hundred dollars. A minimum of three treatments is recommended.
