Moving into a new office space and creating a cozy home feel isn't easy. Tonight, our makeover maestro Martin Amado, makes one non-profit organization's decorating dreams come true and it's all for families affected by congenital heart defects to have a supportive meeting area.

WSVN -- Angel's Pediatric Heart House, has been helping hundreds of families since 2004.

Janet Weisman: "We got to meet other families who have children with a congenital heart disorder and it was great for my son because he felt like he fit in."

Sonia Perez: "The families need this. They need a place where they can just come together, and know that they are not walking into the doctors office, just a warm home like environment."

But only months after opening their doors, hurricane Wilma swirled through South Florida leaving the Heart House with countless damages.

Sonia Perez: "We lost everything, all the furniture that had been donated it was just unbelievable."

Martin Amado: "For the last two years, Angel's Pediatric Heart House has been searching for a new home for the families to meet. They finally found a location, and now Room for Improvement is here to help them decorate it just in time for the holidays."

Martin Amado: "What would you like the space to look like at the end, not only for yourself, but for the families that come and visit?"

Sonia Perez: "What we'd like to create for the families is a home like environment."

Martin Amado: "Room for Improvement partnered with JCPenny to make this make over happen for Sonia and her organization."

I'm using this painting that Sonia commissioned to represent the Heart House as the inspiration for the color scheme of the room, so the main walls will be this pale yellow, and we are picking up the accent colors through the furniture and accessories, so lets get to work."

Martin Amado: "I haven't painted for a while."

Martin Amado: "Time to assemble the furniture."

Martin Amado: "So now, I got some extra hands to help move these home dividers from Sonia's old office into this new space. They are going to frame either sides of the wall and create a cozier living room area."

Martin Amado: "So now, we have our accent wall painted, our room partitions are up, let's decorate."

SMALL WONDER:

Whenever you have a montage frame like this, and you don't have enough prints to fill them up, go ahead and insert a piece of paper, it gives it a nice pop of color while you add more prints in the future.

Martin Amado: "So the final touch is our inspiration piece, right here in the very center of the room. Our work is done, but we have one more surprise for Sonia Coming up."

Martin Amado: "When I count to three you can open your eyes, one, two, three.

People: "oh, my God."

Martin Amado: "JCPenny wants to do something else for you. Not only are you getting all the furniture that you see here, its basically an entire holiday wardrobe from head to toe, so you can be all decked out and they have here for you a $250 gift card."

Martin Amado: "Happy holiday to everybody of course, and to everybody at home lots of good health which is really important, we'll see you next time."
