Halloween is almost here and if you are having fun decorating for this holiday our makeover maestro is here with his must have tips. Let's see martin amado work his magic on this special spooktacular Room for Improvement.

WSVN -- Martin Amado: "If your looking for decor ideas for your Halloween bash, not to worry. Today, we have a spooktacular Room for Improvement filled with simple yet scary tips that will create that perfect ambiance with things you might already have in your home. Let's get started."

Martin Amado: "Now, I know for Halloween we usually concentrate on the outside of the home for the trick-or-treaters, but we can also create an eery table setting for your party with things such as pillow cases and bed sheets. Let me show you how."

Martin Amado: "The idea is to use a standard pillow case as a slip cover for the back of the chair."

Martin Amado: "Another idea is to cover the entire chair with a bed sheet, just like this. But, I'm using it as a tablecloth instead."

Martin Amado: "And of course, for a pop of color on the table in the form of blood. I'm actually using a simple affect, this gauze cloth overlay."

Martin Amado: "Now we can get super creative with our centerpiece for the table and you can do that with items that you find at your local supermarkets; such as pumpkins and gourds. But if you notice, the orange doesn't really go with our overall color scheme. So, I'm going to give it a more haunted, eery look with by using black spray paint."

Martin Amado: "While the paint is drying outside, we can start working on our spooky trees inside. I literally found these dead branches on the side of the road and they were absolutely free, and the idea is to go ahead and place them inside these urns and it creates a more dramatic backdrop right next to our table."

Martin Amado: "I love these candle holders."

Martin Amado: "So, the final touch is to place some pieces of dry ice in these containers to create a fog effect on the table, now make sure you read the label and follow all the directions before you handle something like this."

Martin Amado: "I'm going to cover this with lava rock and then place hot water and your going to see how it will start to smoke up."

Martin Amado: "All right guys, so we finally set the scene for a spooky fun night by basically recycling dried branches, our pillow cases and bed sheet and look at what we achieved. Now, what you serve at the party is completely up to you. I don't want to know. Have a happy Halloween, and I'll see you next time on Room for Improvement. Cheers."
