Room for Improvement: Bedroom

WSVN -- Martin Amado: "El Dorado furniture is celebrating their 45 year anniversary by giving back to the community. They are donating $5,000 worth of furniture to families in need. As a result, the Quintanilla family was surprised with the news that they were selected."

Family: "We are really happy. We appreciate what El Dorado is doing for families in need now."

Martin Amado: "Today, I'm meeting them for the first time in the store to help them chose the right pieces for their home."

Martin Amado: "You guys must be Virginia and Romina. So nice to meet you guys. Congratulations.

Virginia: Thank you."

Martin Amado: "Virginia can actually sleep in the bottom. So, now you have one bed that sleeps three."

Martin Amado: "We want to thank the El Dorado team of decorators. They did a fantastic job. Thank you for making my job easier and I'm going to see both of you soon for that complete transformation in your home."

Martin Amado: "We are done with all the shopping and even though El Dorado is furnishing the entire home, I'm putting my special touch here in the bedroom space. Its shared by Virginia, her daughter and her son, so it needs a lot of help. Let's get to work."

Martin Amado: "As you can see the bedroom is void of any color. So, by painting an accent wall and then bringing the color out on the side with the chair rail, its going to make a big difference in the space."

Martin Amado: "Now, this bedroom is shared by the entire family, so I didn't want to chose a color that was too gender specific. So, I think this mint green works nicely for both girls and boys."

Martin Amado: "All right guys, we can bring it in."

Martin Amado: "An air conditioner wall unit like this one can be quite an eyesore when decorating a room, so a good tip is to go ahead and hang a sheer curtain panel right in front of it and it really helps to disguise it."

Martin Amado: "I chose these vibrant, modern colors because it allows each member of the family to have their own look and of course in the future, you can mix and match the bedding. So, this one up here is for Romina, this is for Joshua and of course the bed down here is for Virginia."

Martin Amado: "Three dollar hola hoops become instant wall art. It's a cool graphic element, huh?"

Martin Amado: "Final touch and let's go get the family."

Martin Amado: "One, two, three open your eyes."

Virginia: "Oh my god. Ahhh! Its beautiful. Thank you.
