WSVN -- Shoes, purses, Ts, dresses, shopping for a new outfit can be lots of fun, especially if sales people are helping you find what you want.

Robyn Markson: "I make relationships with everybody, so, when I walk in, I don't have to feel as though I have to look for that one salesperson."

Robyn Markson has a good relationship with everyone at Jessie Boutique in Aventura. So good, she can put off shopping until the last minute.

Robyn Markson: "I can come here on Friday at 4:00, get dressed and walk out the door. They know exactly what I'm wearing, they know exactly my size, they know exactly my style."

But it's not just about getting the right outfit, it's also about getting the right price.

Jessica: "Just wanted to let you know that your shirt came in."

Jessica says she works out deals with repeat customers, and she always treats them right.

Jessica: "We put stuff aside for them. A lot of times we bring things to peoples' houses if they live close."

At Guapa in South Beach, Maria says customers who treat her right are treated to the inside scoop on special sales.

Maria Perez: "I'll give them a heads up and say this is a secret sale, and they really appreciate that."

Tiffany Lam: "She does have a very good feel of what I'm looking for."

Robbin Simmons: "So here's what smart shoppers know: to cement a relationship at your favorite store, make sure to thank your sales person, bring them small gifts once in a while, a cup of coffee, candy or even a candle, and make sure they know what you want and what you're willing to spend."

To make this easy, look for a sales person who has a style similar to yours.
