A designer men's suit can cost up to $8,000, but you don't have to make a CEO's salary to pull off a perfect corporate look. Seven's Reed Cowan is here with some Smart Shopping tips.

WSVN -- Frank Kelly knows how to get that corporate look. He was voted Esquire Magazine's best-dressed everyday man, but he wasn't wearing designer duds in his photo shoot.

Frank Kelly: "It was a suit that I bought at Simms for about $150. That's always been one of my fortes to find bargains, find diamonds in the rough."

Frank could make women envious with his savvy shopping skills.

Frank Kelly: "The pocket square I wore was on sale for $3. You would never think that it would be so cheap."

But he says there is a trick to making the bargain looks come together. Start with the suit.

Frank Kelly: "Get two suits, gray and navy blue."

You can shop at discount stores, just make sure you get a good fit. If you don't..

Frank Kelly: "Most of the tailors in town customize suits for under $60."

Where you can really stretch your wardrobe and save a bundle is with the shirts.

Frank Kelly: "Go to Marshalls or Ross and find great shirts that are discounted brand names."

In fact, the shirt Frank was wearing for his photo shoot only cost him $30.

Reed Cowan: "Frank says there are a few keys to bargain shopping. Shop at a variety of stores, even go to different locations of the same discount store. They each carry different lines, and, finally, make sure to go a couple of times a year."

Frank Kelly: "What I try to do is go at least once every six months, spend a Saturday and go to maybe three or four stores, find bargains, find a right suit."

And don't pass up designer shops. When they put things like ties and pocket squares on sale you can save a bundle.

Frank Kelly: "You can get great discounted accessories. At Brooks Brothers you can get a pocket square for $5."

And in the end, it can pay off big when you have that perfect corporate look.

Frank Kelly: "You want to identify with your boss' appearance. You want to kind of be a reflection of their style, not just in attitude and communication but in how you look."
