It's amazing to think that in just four months, Bo Bice, Carrie Underwood and the other idols have become household names. But how well do you really know this year's contestants? Here is seven's Shireen Sandoval with some idol thoughts about the competing kids.
WSVN -- With 60 million viewers a week, American Idol is undeniable. The smallest facts about the singers' lives can make for great water cooler conversation.
Like can you guess who is the only one of the final five singers who's had formal training? The answer -- Vonzell.
And can you guess who their favorite judge is? You'd think Paula right? Well, think again. The boys prefer Simon -- the girls prefer Randy...
But for all the contestants, performing is just a piece of who they are.
Scott Savol: " Aside from this, my son is probably the greatest thing that has happened to me in my life."
Carrie Underwood: "I can perform in front of anywhere, anybody, anytime, but as soon as I'm being judged I get nervous."
Anthony Federov: "I love sushi, I'm a sushi freak. That's like my hobby, I love eating sushi.
Carrie: "My right leg shakes and whenever I hold the microphone my hand shakes. I feels to me that it is a lot bigger than it is, but I don't think people notice it."
However, singing isn't their only talent. Bo also plays the piano, guitar, bass, and sax, Vonzell is mastering the martial arts and Scott would like to be on stage for another reason - he wants to be a comedian.
Even South Florida's native idol Nadia Turner has some hidden interests.
Nadia Turner: "I beat box. I love black and white photography, I take black and white photography pictures."
Scott: "I like to draw sometimes in my free time."
Nadia: "I like going to wine tastings."
Scott: "I played trumpet when I was in high school and in middle school. I've dappled with the piano a little bit."
And that's not all. Did you know Vonzell recorded her first CD last April, Carrie's lucky charm is a fuzzy wuzzy bear and Anthony has something in common with many South Floridians -- he loves to listen to Spanish ballads and salsa music
In fact, the only thing we don't know is the one thing we want to know and that's who's going to be the next "American Idol."
One more factoid about this year's idols - can you guess which idol is most talented in the kitchen? The answer - Bo.
