Father's day is just around the corner, and even though you hate to admit it, we know there are plenty of you who still haven't gotten dad a present. On tonight's style file, forget about that same old shirt and tie and give him something a cut above the rest.
WSVN -- He taught you everything you need to know.
How to shoot hoops and how to enjoy the great outdoors - when it comes to things you used to do with dad, you don't ever forget them...
Pietro: "When I was a child, my father would get shaved every Saturday morning, and I would follow my dad."
From a little boy...
Pietro: "The barber would put some shaving cream on my face and use the back edge of his comb and shave me at four years old."
To a hot shot real estate developer.
Pietro: "Image is always very important."
Pietro Belmonte has always loved a clean cut shave.
Pietro: "Its a relaxing experience, as well as, its a tradition."
But his dad probably never had something quite as good as this.
Eric Malka: "It's a 45 minute shave that starts out with the traditional shave, the straight razor shave, hot towels, and so forth. And it's finished by a 15 minute skin treatment."
It's the royal shave at the art of shaving in Bal Harbour that not only treats your skin to the best of the best...
Eric: "We include a lot of natural ingredients and aromatherapy based essential oils in our products."
But each shave is customized to your individual skin type.
Eric: "For sensitive skin for example we have lavender essential oil, which is used on baby skin."
So after three shaves, yep, they shave you three times, the royal shave mask, and then the shaving balm, your dad will never feel more like prince charming.
Pietro: "It was very relaxing and my skin feels fantastic. It's very very smooth. It was a good shave - One of the best shaves I've had I would say."
But at the art of shaving it isn't only about making dad look good, it's also about giving the gift that keeps on giving --knowing how to do it yourself!
Eric: "Education is number one ingredient in the company. We very quickly learned that men knew very little about how to groom properly, how to shave."
Learn the strokes....
Eric: "Things you should always remember, stretch the skin and finding out the direction of the beard. Your first shave should always go downwards."
And then pick up the products to do it at home.
Eric: "We have a few different gift sets. Our latest one is called the four elements of the perfect shave kit."
From travel kits to after shave cremes and even to sterling silver razors -- here everything is truly fit for a king.
Pietro: "This would be fantastic for my dad. This would be an amazing gift."
Right now art of shaving has a promotion where when you spend $35 dollars or more your dad is automatically entered into a raffle where he can win free royal shaves for a year.
