At Churchill's Barbershop in Downtown Miami, getting groomed has never been so macho.

Churchill's owner Jose Goyanes: "The point of Churchill's was to create a place where men could come in and feel comfortable, totally the opposite of how a man would feel if he walked into a beauty salon."

It's metrosexual meets old-school masculine at it's finest. Get shaped, shaved, and shined without feeling like you've lost any hair on your chest.

Churchill's client Albert Gigato: "It's very masculine, the ambiance, it's for a gentleman.

Albert Gigato knows a man's got to have a manicure, but doesn't want to go where the girls do.

Albert: "It feels very comfortable to come in here and get a manicure where you would not feel that way if you were to talk into a ladies salon."

Well, you won't find any gabbing gals at this barbershop. This is a place to hang with the fellows.

Read the paper while you get your shoes shined. Have a cup of coffee while you wait or just watch the big game on TV.

Jose: "We get a nice crowd here on Friday's, we play nice disco music, so it winds everyone down from the hectic work week."

And why not wind down with a clean shave. The process starts with a hot towel, followed by an old-fashioned fresh-blade shave reminding clients of the good old days.

Riddick Lloye: "It sort of takes me back, it's like an old fashioned place, and it's impressive."

But what's most impressive is that you'll leave with a nice clean-cut look, without a big cut to your paycheck.

Jose: "We want to provide all this for a budget price."

And if you can get the look for less, it's truly a man's world.

Jose: "It's become more of a clubhouse atmosphere with the men that come here."

And ladies don't feel left out. Right next to Churchill's is metro beauty--it's the same kind of thing, but completely catered to women.
