Style File: Sanctuary Hotel
It seems like there's new hotel opening in South Florida every day. So many, it's almost impossible to differentiate one from another. But in tonight's style file, we're taking you to a hot, new hotel that's in a league of it's own.
WSVN -- Hot bodies, hot cars, hot clubs. When you're on South Beach, it's all action -- all the time.
Sometimes, you just need a place to get away.
Sanctuary owner Keith Menin: "You're a block off the strip. So your kind of hidden, your on your own."
Welcome to Sanctuary. A quiet peaceful oasis in the heart of party central.
Keith: "Your kind of hidden your on your own, and then when you walk down the street, you're at Mynt, Rock Bar you're at the Delano you can party with everyone else."
Belkys: "You are right in the thick of it without being in the thick of it."
Prime location, top notch rooms...
Keith: "Our rooms all have 40 inch plasma TVs, wood floors, marble tops, fret sheets, beautiful place."
You can't beat it, but Sanctuary is serving up something entirely new. It's a female friendly hotel catering to women who travel solo.
Keith: "That single girl that finally meets a guy or has a husband or friend will stay with us again have a little different experience but it will still be pleasurable. it's something we thought that the market would like and apparently they are loving it we get single women checking in all the time"
Lets face it, just because you are traveling alone doesn't necessarily mean you want to be alone all the time, and at Sanctuary you never have to be. If you are in the mood for some company they've got your back.
Lauren Galbut: "Every girl feels the need to have someone with her."
24-year-old Lauren Galbut's loved all the perks that came with her stay at sanctuary. Like cute cabana boys at your service.
Lauren: "Lying by the pool by yourself has a lot of issues. Not being able tot talk to anyone, not being able to share lunch with anyone, not having anyone to rub lotion on your back and here it's done with the snap of a finger."
Your single woman wish is their command.
Keith: "Yesterday someone wanted to play tennis at Flamingo park a signal girl she said you know can I go there and just play i said take a companion with you he'll help you get a court make sure you have your balls and it wasn't like a bodyguard just someone to make you feel safe."
And if you're thinking all this extra service must cost some serious cash - think again. Flyin' solo at sanctuary actually ends up saving you money.
Keith: "They discount the rooms 10 percent discount in the spa, it's like a package deal."
So, once you've soaked in the sun, you won't think twice about hitting the spa..
Pampered, refreshed, and rejuvenated, you're ready to head on out for the night -- Sanctuary style.
Keith: "Door to door service, how can you beat that."
The other great part about Sanctuary - it's a condo hotel, so if you want a little piece of the action - you can easily get in on it.
