Depending on your relationship status, Valentine's Day can be loved or hated. In tonight's Style File, Seven's Belkys Nerey has some ideas that'll melt your love's heart or mend a broken one.
WSVN -- For those couples who can't stop holding hands and making goo-goo eyes at each other, this Valentine's, melt your sweetie's heart with chocolate.
Chantelle Frotten, owner, It's A Chocolate Thing: "We have milk, white and dark chocolate available in 109 flavors."
Yep, you heard right. At It's A Chocolate Thing on Northeast 79th Street in Miami, you can sample and choose from 109 different flavors. Just like finding true love, it took the owner a lot of experimenting to perfect each taste.
Chantelle Frotten: "I started out with 27, went to 36, 65 and then ended up at 109."
Chocolates range from raspberry to mint chocolate chip, sugar-free and carb-free.
Chantelle Frotten: "The best sellers we have are the cheesecake and pina colada flavor."
You can pick up pre-made gift boxes or customize your own, and for the frisky...
Chantelle Frotten: "We offer an extensive line of erotic chocolates that are kept under wraps, so customers are going to have to ask for it."
For a sensual gift, head over to Emeshel in the Design District, which sells luxury crystal and glass sculptures.
Angela Smith, Emeshel: "Emeshel's Art Collection is our signature collection made with the highest quality lead crystal, Murano glass. It's also made with 14 karat gold silver and other precious metals."
Many of the sculptures are shaped like the human body and tell the story of the designer's life of love and relationships.
Angela Smith: "A lot of them are couples embracing, and there are a lot of sculptures in deep red, which is a passionate color."
There's also the Emeshel Love Line of jewelry featuring handmade crystal necklaces, bracelets and earrings, and for the scent of seduction, Emeshel also just launched a perfume line for both men and women.
Angela Smith: "The shape of the bottle is very provocative. We have five fragrances for women. The artist explains that it's very difficult to capture the essence of women in one fragrance, so therefore she created five."
But for those who've recently lost at love, we won't let you sit home and cry in your beer.
On Valentine's Day, head over to Crunch Gym on South Beach for the Ex-Factor.
Fitness guru Lisa Gaylord is leading a unique kick-boxing class where guys and gals can bring in a picture of their ex, tape it on a mitt, and then pair up with another bitter boxer!
Lisa Gaylord, fitness instructor, Crunch Gym: "Putting up pictures of your ex-boyfriend, girlfriend, lover, whatever and just beating the crap out of them. We're going to set this class up like a kick boxing class and just wail away."
The event is free, and you don't have to be a member of the gym to box it out.
Lisa Gaylord: "Getting out your frustration, burning a bunch of calories. I think the best revenge for an ex is looking good. How could you leave this? Best revenge is a hot body."
The Ex-Factor is on Valentine's Day and starts at 11 a.m. Crunch is located on Washington Avenue in South Beach.
