WSVN -- It's a cultural combo at the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach a night of art and music.

Carolina Perez: "You're surrounded by art pieces and wonderful music. It's just a great combination."

Twice a month on Friday nights the museum hosts a sizzlin' jazz concert featuring some of Miami's best musicians.

Silvia Karman: "We have Latin jazz. We have traditional jazz, but mainly we're looking for artists who have their own composition, so this is original music."

Ray Breslin: "The animation and the creativity of the artists are unreal, and they get really into it."

Even if you're not the artsy type, it's a cheap night to try something new. For $10 you can listen to jazz, enjoy an open bar with wine and beer and roam around the first floor of the museum, and checking out their art.

Carolina Perez: "It's a great bargain and it's almost nothing to pay for all this culture in one little night."

Ray: "You still have the rest of your evening left. You know it's just really fun. You can see by the crowd."

If you're still craving more music, head over to the Design District where live music is alive, and well at The King is Dead.

Richard: "On Fridays, we do Funk, Soul and R&B to help people unwind after work."

The nightclub decorated like a dark and grand castle has just launched a live music series every Friday and Saturday night.

Richard: "We want to make the design district a more well-rounded place to come. There's a lot of restaurants

Genevieve Kato: "I've been to every Friday and Saturday party since they've had the live music series and it's amazing."

You really get the royal treatment with great local and national bands, and there is no cover charge. Don't be surprised if you get an impromptu performance like this one.

Megan Prentiss: "Here you can come and hear something new and fresh. I was here a few weeks ago and it was a cover and it was magnificent, all female band. So we looked up the band and we've been following them."

When it comes to live music all hail the king.

Belkys Nerey: "Live music at The King is Dead gets started around 11:00 on Friday and Saturday nights. If you're a member of the Bass Museum, the jazz concert is only $5.
