Style File: Party Boat
This isn't your average cruise. You could say it's a lounge on the water. Seven's Belkys Nerey takes us aboard in today's Style File.
WSVN -- Need to be rescued from the ho-hum party life of bars and hotels? We've got just the lifesaver. Aqua Luxury Yacht just cruised into town.
Andrew Lord: "We have everything that a nightclub has, but we have the views that no one else has."
Tina Malloy: "Open air, I can see the lights of Key Biscayne, Downtown Miami. It's a festive party atmosphere."
Aqua is a lounge floating on the water. It sports two decks for partying with bars, flat screen TVs and plenty of comfy nooks to relax and sip cocktails.
Tony Hill: "This is a great vibe, very loungy. Certainly the location is very good."
You can rent it out for any sort of celebration or corporate event, and you have the option of staying docked or to sail around the bay.
Noel Puldon: "If I had the funds, I'd probably rent it out for my birthday, take it out to the bay for a few hours."
And, some nights, party-goers will be able to board it just like a night club.
Andrew Lord: "In the month of February we are going to start Thursday night parties here on the yacht where we'll do similar to what a nightclub would do. We'll have some of South Florida's hottest DJs."
So, if you get that sinking feeling every time you look at a stuffy bar, get your sea legs and come aboard.
Belkys Nerey: "The rental rates for Aqua aren't too bad. In high season, it's $800 an hour, off season, $500 an hour. We're told the Thursday night parties will be a small cover and open to everyone."
