Some say Valentine's Day is just a marketing ploy to make money, but, to stay out of trouble, it's best to get your loved one a little something special. In today's Style File, Seven's Belkys Nerey shows us some gifts to get you in the mood.

WSVN -- OK, love birds, it's time to express all your love and money. If you like the scent of a woman or a man, the 4th Sense, a new perfumery in Bay Harbor, is the place for you.

Frank Perdigon: "I think perfume defines you as a person."

You won't find department store brands here. Instead, they specialize in exclusive sprays from perfume houses all over the world, with many of their scents made for kings and queens.

Frank Perdigon: "This is Floris of London. It's been made since the 1700s. They go back to Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth."

And some of the perfumes have quite a history.

Frank Perdigon: "This was a perfume made for Napoleon. It goes back about 300 years. It's one of Napolean's favorites."

Yep, we're talking about that Napoleon Bonaparte. You can buy scents made for him, his wife Josephine and their whole court. All come with official documents.

Zorida Diaz: "I love going into a room and not smelling like everyone else, and not only that but having a history behind the product."

They also carry unisex lines like Esteban or Carthusia, which has been made on the island of Capri since the 14th Century. We hear Cameron Diaz is a big fan.

For those of you who are more into sight than smell, Sex & boutique in South Beach can help you add some "va-va-voom" to your gift-giving.

Jessica Sariano: "Sex & boutique is, I think, a paradise for a woman. A woman can find everything she needs, from lingerie to evening gowns."

The shop boasts 11 boutiques inside, four of them filled with high-end lingerie. You can choose from all sorts of sexy numbers, even these Swarovski-encrusted bras.

If lingerie is too cliché, you can wow your lady with fine jewelry, glamorous evening gowns and shoes, all from exclusive designers.

There's also a gorgeous champagne bar you can rent out for a romantic catered dinner for two or just grab a glass of bubbly together.

Jessica Sariano: "People can come here, and they can have a glass of champagne together, and the women can shop and have a great time."

If you don't know what to buy, the store put together a whole room full of Valentine's gift ideas. As the French say, "Ooo la la."

Belkys Nerey: "Sex & even offers stuff for your table top and home. Perfume prices at the 4th Sense range from $50 to $200, and they offer good-smelling soaps, bath salts and candles."
