Style File: Baby Showers
At this party the gifts are already there and the guests just have to point and pay. It could not be any easier. In today's Style file, Seven's Belkys Nerey shows us the chic and convenient way to shower a new mom with love.
WSVN -- Not all of us were born to shop for the perfect baby gift. For those who hate sorting through a registry or simply don't know what the "it" baby gift is, a South Florida mom is coming to the rescue.
Lorena Cedeno: "The idea of the company is basically to give hip mommies a chic alternative to everyday essentials for baby."
Lorena Cedeno created Benini Bug, an on-line boutique full of the hippest baby gifts. All moms have to do is go on-line and pick out the gifts she wants, anything from bedding to chic clothes to toys.
Adriana Rodriguez: "It was so easy to go on-line and do the registry. It made it so much easier than going to a department store."
But, here's the best part, Lorena will then bring the gifts chosen from the registry to your baby shower. It's set up like a boutique. Guests simply shop and pay for their gift, and it's wrapped for mom right there.
Lorena Cedeno: "All they have to do is come to the shower. They don't have to haul a gift. They don't have to wait in line."
Miladys Baeza: "It was easy. I didn't have to do any shopping, which I hate. It was the easiest baby shower exchange I have ever had to do."
Miladys Baeza: "I picked out a set of socks, and it's beautifully wrapped."
Madly Ambroise: "It's very nice. Everything is right there, you can feel it, you can touch it, you see the quality of it."
For moms-to-be, there's nothing better than opening exactly what you want. Plus, you don't have to return anything, because Benini Bug makes sure no gift is repeated.
Adriana Rodriguez: "I was able to tell my family that's what I really want. My little girl will definitely be the most stylish girl."
There's no cost for Benini Bug to come to your shower, and Lorena also treats moms to a diaper cake.
Expect lots of oohs and ahhs from mom, and, of course, a lot more convenience for guests.
Belkys Nerey: "If a guest can't make the shower, they can order their gift on-line and have it delivered later. You can also host a Benini Bug on-line party."
