We would all love to have a fairy godmother wave a magic wand and make us over in seconds. Well, now we have something almost as magical for busy women. In tonight's Style File, Seven's Belkys Nerey shows us the latest ways to look fab fast.
WSVN -- All hail the queen. For busy dames who don't have time to sit in a salon all day, Rik Rak Salon in Brickell has created the Queen's Quickie package.
Raquel Waters: "We do everything in an hour and a half."
Call it controlled chaos, you get the royal treatment from head to toe with at least four to five people working on you at one time. You get a blow-out, custom mani-pedi, an egg-white facial, make-up session, and eyelash extensions.
Raquel Waters: "Once we finish they are totally done."
They do have one secret to speeding up the makeup application. It's called Color-On, think of it as the lee press on nails of eye shadow.
Raquel Waters: "This is shadow that is pre-made. It comes in 48 colors. A lot of the stars are already using this, and it cuts down on 20 minutes of make-up for the eye. You apply it on the eyelids, tap it gently, and peel it right off, and then we are going to blend it a little."
Back to our queen of the hour, Lynn Allen, who's now ready for her big reveal.
Lynn Allen: "It feels efficient. I feel like my time is valuable, and by having all these services done at one time is worth every penny. I feel like I am ready for anything now."
Another way to look fab fast is to get your make-up airbrushed on just like the celebrities.
Lisa Merritt-Lee: "It's perfect for brides, for back-tie events, even just a night on the town."
Lisa Merritt-Lee from Alluring Faces Studios will come to you and spray on a flawless face.
Lisa Merritt-Lee "You can hide age spots, freckles, tattoos, any imperfection you have on your body."
She applies your base, blush and eye make-up with the airbrush. She even covers tan lines. It takes just minutes to do, but it lasts for 12 to 16 hours.
Lisa Merritt-Lee: "The airbrush makeup is perfect for the humidity and the climate we have here because you won't sweat it off."
Sasha Luna got airbrushed for her wedding.
Sasha Luna: "I could just relax and not have to worry about the make-up running all over my face. I just felt like it enhanced my beauty instead of covering it up."
A beauty trick all queen's deserve.
Belkys Nerey: "The airbrushing can cost anywhere from $150 to $200, and the Queen's Quickie at Rik Rak is $285. That package also comes with a dirty queen martini and a healthy salad.
