Style File: Shopping
From a traveling boutique that will bring all the latest trends to your home to a bar that sells clothes instead of drinks. 7s Belkys Nerey shows us some cool new ways to shop in tonight's Style File.
WSVN -- Like most girls, 28-year-old Jennifer Gonzalez loves clothes and pretty baubles.
Jennifer Gonzalez: "I've always wanted my own store, but rent is very expensive."
So Jennifer came up with a unique idea. Instead of renting a store space, she'll bring the entire boutique called "Love-E" to your house.
Jennifer Gonzalez: "It's a traveling boutique, and I can go anywhere in Miami."
Jennifer will transform your place into a mini-boutique at no cost to you.
Nicole Garcia: "It's just so much easier not to have to go anywhere. It comes here, it's much more relaxing."
All you have to do is invite a bunch of your best gal pals, save some food and drinks and it's a shopping party.
Michelle Arca: "Normally, when you go shopping you want to bring all your friends with you, and here you have them all here, in a comfortable environment."
Jennifer brings racks of the latest styles. Along with purses, belts and jewelry.
Nicole Garcia: "It's very tempting not to leave with one of everything."
And because she doesn't have to pay rent, she can sell the items at a steal.
Michelle Arca: "The prices are great, because for the most part it's under $50."
There's also a new bar in town where instead of ordering a drink, you can sit down and buy a high-end handbag.
CC Levin: "We wanted people to come and see this long 44 foot bar and have these gorgeous bags behind it."
People who belly up to the bar in this boutique will find coveted bags like Chanel, Louis Vitton even an Hermes Birkin.
CC Levin: "Everything we have here is special. We specialize only in high end luxurious items."
Friends Cc Levin and Ilissa Whitehead wanted to change the way people think about consignment so they designed a gorgeous place to shop, and only accept the best labels.
Ilissa Whitehead: "When you walk in you don't feel like you're in a consignment store, you feel like you're in a high-end boutique."
This will make any shoe girl go ga-ga. To make shopping easy, there's an entire wall showcasing their best shoes. Anything from Jimmy Choo to Prada to Dior, and of course racks of clothes from some of the best closets in Miami.
Ilissa Whitehead: "Right now we've got some fantastic Chanel ready to wear, beautiful Valentino as well, Pucci, Dolce and Gabana, and Missoni. All of our items are in excellent condition and in fact, we have many items with tags still on them."
Proving you can looked refined even if it's consigned.
Belkys Nerey: "The Consignment Bar offers a 50-50 split. They'll even come to your house and clean out your closet."
